At Horizons, we are constantly looking for highly qualified people
to work with the people that we support.  We will be reviewing your application and if we have a position which matches your credentials, we will contact you for an interview.

 Due to recommendations from our insurance agency, some of our prescreening criteria have changed.  So, it is important for you to read the following carefully before completing our application. You must be able to drive a motor vehicle in order to work as a Support Coach (part-time or full-time).  The items listed below are generally unacceptable on your driving record.   They could disqualify you from having an employment interview.

  1. Currently suspended license
  2. No current license for the State of residence
  3. License suspended or revoked for cause within the past two years
  4. Any major violations within the last three years
  5. Any major violations between 3 and 7 years old and any other incident (violation or accident) since then
  6. More than 1 chargeable accident within the last year; or 2 or more in the past 3 years
  7. Three or more moving violations or accidents or combinations thereof

Drivers with at least 5 years experience will be given priority.
